Donor Recognition Societies

Philanthropy has played a significant role in Jefferson’s successes since the University’s founding in 1824. Contributions from our most loyal supporters have provided the resources to help Jefferson become a national leader in research, education and patient care.

Presidents' Club

Donors join this distinguished group when they make an annual gift of $2,500 or more in the fiscal year. Presidents’ Club members provide valuable resources for students, researchers and clinicians while sending a message to others that Jefferson is an institution worthy of investment. In return for the support, we offer benefits to Presidents’ Club members at five levels:

Fellows are extraordinarily generous supporters who are recognized for their cumulative lifetime giving to Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals. This prestigious group of Jefferson’s most loyal supporters have generously donated $100,000 or more in their lifetime.

1824 Society

The new 1824 Society recognizes donors in our alumni recognition lists who give for five consecutive years or more.

Thomas Eakins Society

Jefferson established the Thomas Eakins Society to honor individuals who have included Jefferson in their estate plans. By providing benefits that last beyond a lifetime, donors ensure that Jefferson will remain a superior academic medicine center. Supporters who have informed us of their estate receive invitations to special events.
