March 2013 •  Get Your Rear in Gear colon cancer walk benefits research at Jefferson. A check for $50,000 from last year's walk was presented to Jefferson in March.
December 2012 • The sale of of a medical fraternity chapter house in Philadelphia establishes the Paul Zimskind, MD '57, PhD Scholarship Fund and Memorial Lectureship in Urology.
Fund A Cure Gives Gift to Pancreatic Cancer Research
November 2012 • Fund A Cure for Pancreatic Cancer donated $47,000 to pancreatic cancer research at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals.
Lubert Family Endows Professorship in Cardiology
October 2012 • A University trustee from 2005 through 2011, Ira Lubert became an avid supporter of Jefferson’s cardiology team after witnessing the compassionate care they provided his mother when she was ill.
Susan Donahue Honors Husband with Endowed Lectureship in the Department of Surgery
Susan Donahue has made a gift to establish the Philip E. Donahue, MD, Lectureship in Benign Gastrointestinal Diseases.
